Kanau and Feather WIP1

This will be moved to Scraps once I've finished the painting!

The current WIP stage for Sara "Seidooryuu"'s painting commission order of her City of Heroes character, Feather, and Kanau, character of her friend, Jen.

Haven't added the clothing to Kanau or Feather yet. Poses first. So yes, they're nude right now.

May have to rework the poses for Feathers wings to help direct peoples eyes. Going to use the "rule of thirds" for the final sketch, with the background that will be added and the art nouveau-ish border. Those should also help with eye direction.


Plans are for it to be a digital painting, but as you know me, final tight pencils and inks shall be done traditionally, with pencil, paper, india ink and brush.

Rough sketching and final colors are being done in ArtRage Studio 3.0.6. ( ArtRage is SEXY! ).
