I'm curious...

Am I one of the few whom thinks Sweeney Todd the movie wasn't all it was hyped up to be?

I don't know, it was good, LOVED the use of colors throughout the movie, the acting was good, and I liked the soundtrack, buuuuuuut... I know I won't spend the money to buy the soundtrack, or dvd once it's released.

The ending felt EXTREMELY rushed, and like Danielle said, it felt like "Pirates meets Harry Potter" because of the casting of the four main characters. Blarh.

To quote red_velvet_rose on the MLP Arena:
" Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Death Eater musical review! Guest starring Jack Sparrow! "

I'm not the kind to like a movie simply because a certain actor or actress I like is in it. Hell, the only actor I REALLY like is now retired from acting, so those days are kind of over for me ( Sean Connery, baybeh... yum! ).

To be perfectly honest, I enjoyed Disney's Enchanted more than I did Sweeney Todd.
