I think I know what I'd like to do for my upcoming 31st birthday.

Anyone up for a bowling night at Circle Lanes in Roxbury, possibly the weekend before or after January 19th?


I remembered just how much fun I used to have when I was still in a minor bowling league there, and when I went with my friends back in high school ( we all used to hit up Sparta Lanes and the Roxbury Circle Lanes a few times a month ).

This evening, I went with Christine to the Funplex over in East Hanover ( to make up for not doing anything for New Years Eve ), and they have a little bowling alley in there, that's probably the closest thing to a real bowling alley that I've seen in an arcade. After about 24 sets, and pulling a muscle in my left hip, I remembered how much fun I really used to have playing the game. Though I was in a league, I always played just for the fun of it. I don't think I lost my touch, either. But then again, the balls at Funplex are smaller and don't have finger holes like real bowling balls.

I think Mom and I still have our bowling shoes, balls, chalk packets and wipes, and bags, up in the attic. I'd LOVE to be able to play again!


Anyone want in? You don't even have to bowl, it's really fun just to sit in the pit and BS with everyone, nom down on some damn good food ( the food at Circle Lanes is DYAMN good ), have a beer, and have a friendly bit of competition. It's all good times. ^__^

I haven't had a birthday party in years. Can't afford to go to LIPS again, movie night at home is boring as hell, bars are a waste of time, LET'S BOWL!

Come on, you get to throw big heavy balls at things! XP

Okay, that's it, I've come to the conclusion that Firefox does NOT like showing cell borders in a table.

Which, in my case, makes me want to kick things.

Double grrr.

Going to find another way to make the page work. There are always other ways.

Build it around Firefox, tweak it for IE.

I'm NOT uploading anything new there until I get the sales pages finished. I figured out how to tweak the style sheets, create new ones, and say F-YOU to others that refuse to work in Firefox by using good old fashioned HTML coding. When I say center, I mean CENTER, DAMN YOU! RAR! XP

Yep, it is now officially 12:54 am, so NOW I can say this!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Happy Soltice, Merry Kwanza and Happy Hanukkah, everyone!

I came back ( about an hour ago ) from spending Christmas Eve evening with two very awesome friends, where we all exchanged gifties ( BROOKLYNN RAGE!! ), got sick on Wise Cheez Doodles and cherry Twizzlers, and watched Emmet Otters Jugband Christmas and it's blooper reels. X3

Got home and immediately hopped in the shower. I hate waking up Christmas morning looking like a mess, and we were invited to our neighbors for Christmas breakfast, so shower now while I can enjoy it.

Saw Avatar with the folks last night ( it's VERY rare when all three of us want to see the same movie BADLY )!

We all loved it! I think I had an art-gasm during the movie! Geezubs cripes, that was beautiful! SPOT ON motion capturing, and I loved the idea of the bioluminescence being used.

Not spoiling anything else, you have to go see it!

Oh, Hot Topic, you amuse me yet again with your inability to understand something called a copyright law.

Fanart does have someone else's characters in it, yes, HOWEVER, the artwork ITSELF still belongs to the ARTIST, and you STILL have to ask permission from the person who drew it if you can use said artwork for something. He didn't draw it for profit himself, he drew it for the fun of it, for himself, never meant to make money from it.

Hot Topic is KNOWN for using artwork from artists on places such as DeviantART without asking permission from the artist. Both fanart AND original art. I've seen it first hand myself in the past with illegally reproduced artwork on stickers and postcards and shirts, all from that store. And all they get is a slap on the wrist, told not to do it again, are let go, and of course, they do it again. And again and again and again.

And it's happened yet again.

I watch *lastscionz on DA ( Jeffrey .Chamba. Cruz ), who works for Udon Crew. He found out today from another fan that Hot Topic is now selling tshirts with HIS Battle Toads fanart on it. WITHOUT his permission and without even being asked in the first place.
