Quickly tossing this up here.

Finally finished this, and won the battle against Open Canvas and Photoshop with a 600 dpi working file ^^;.

For the Dash Kameku contest, at hpkomics.com, Studio BLU.

Sketched in Open Canvas, pencils, india ink and brush on 8.5 x 11 inch card stock, colored in Open Canvas, background circles added in Photoshop 6 ( yes, I REALLY need a new version of Photoshop ;~; ).

I'm not sure what open canvas is, but I'm sure it's a program that you draw with and with that I must say i es in awe of Bee-chan's work. :3

Cute turtle too. (it is a turtle /frog/lizard something or other right?)

Open Canvas sound snazzy but those programs are a waste on me. XD

Open Canvas is like Painter. You can basically create paintings with it, very soft looking, like you couldn't do with earlier versions of Photoshop, like anything from 7 and under ( make that 6 and under, which I have. Trying to sketch or get a painted effect in Photoshop 6 is impossible, and actual smooth curved sketch lines? Heh, forget it. ).

Dash is an anthro turtle, small shell, little tail ( would have seen it from this angle ).
