Peeeek-a-booooo!

Been wanting to work on this little dude for some time now, either in a drawing, painting, or sculpture.

I just happened to have a G1 Baby Cuddles My Little Pony bait laying around, and, wellll... she just kind of beckoned to be turned into something reminiscent of a cat.

The AnimeNEXT mascots pet is sort of a cat... a green, one eyed, antennaed cat, but a cat none-the-less!

Started with a G1 Baby Cuddles My Little Pony bait. All sculpting was done with apoxie sculpt from Aves Studios. Painted with various craft acrylic paints, and sealed with a matte varnish. Eye was sealed with a glossy varnish. Nose and tips of antennae were first resealed with Star Lite varnish, then dipped in Stamp - n - Stuff's kaleidoscope transparent embossing powder for a microglitter faux flock look.

Tail cuff is decorated with Swarovski crystals and metal.

Whiskers are painted strands of broom bristle from my 2011 Quidditch World Cup broom pen. XP

The AnimeNEXT mascots pet belongs to, of course, AnimeNEXT / Universal Animation.

Thank you! I do miss seeing his cute little face here in my studio; he didn't get to stay here long, as I only finished him a few days before this past AnimeNEXT, and he didn't come home with me ( I donated him to the childrens charity auction that was being held at the convention. He was the only thing I could think of to donate as an artist for the auction. ^^; ).

I do miss him, but he's in a good home now, and the money he raised in the auction was put to a good use.
